Railroad Museum

The Museum is a fully restored passenger depot constructed in 1912 by the Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railway. Through artifacts, photographs and video presentations, you will experience an era nearly 70 years ago when rail was the primary means of transportation from city to city. Take Exit 20 from I-86 and follow the signs.

Seneca-Iroquois National Museum

A dream of many Seneca Elders in the 1950s and 1960s was to see an educational facility built for younger Senecas to reaffirm traditions and beliefs. They believed that the culture wasn't being carried forward. The Seneca-Iroquois National Museum opened to the public in August 1977. The Museum offers exhibits on Seneca and Iroquois cultural ancesteral materials including, but not limited to beadwork, baskets, cornhusk objects, pottery, dress tools, and artwork. Take Exit 20 from I-86 and follow the signs.

Griffis Sculpture Park

The park features a variety of natural habitats including forests, ponds, wetlands, and alpine meadows. Within these settings, more than 200 sculptures by local, national, and international artists are displayed. Unlike traditional art galleries, where contact with the artwork is prohibited, the art at Griffis Sculpture Park is meant to be interacted with. Here you are encouraged to touch and climb on many of the pieces. It is this interaction, combined with an outstanding sculptural art collection and pristine natural environment that makes the park a unique cultural resource.

Right off of I-86.
